Are we getting anywhere? ANU Philosophy Professor Daniel Stoljar speaks with ABC Radio National
Wednesday 21 November 2018

ANU Professor Daniel Stoljar was recently interviewed on the ABC’s Radio National about whether philosophy is progressing.

“To ask whether or not philosophy is progressing would seem to be beside the point. Theories come, theories go, schools of thought face off against each other and wrangle over ideas as the centuries pass. Isn't philosophy more about questions than answers? Not necessarily. It all depends on how you conceive of philosophy in the first place, particularly with regard to its institutional setting.”
